Ma's Fluorite Set

I had to re-set my mom's fluorite set as she didn't like the earlier one I made for her... See my earlier post Ma's Gift...

So, I changed the overall design and made the necklace into a charm necklace using the fluorite stones... Now, she's very happy with the set... When she's happy, then I'm relieved... My mom has a very high expectation of my work and everytime she orders jewelry from me, I always worry that she might not like what I've made for her... Today, I'm happy...

The matching bracelet with flower charm... I changed the earlier butterfly charm as I felt that the flower suits the set better...

On another note, my mom has decided to maybe keep this set for herself after all... She says she'll buy another gift to replace this set for her friend... Until later...

Chrysocolla

Chrysocolla has a few hues of green, blue and black all mixed together to form a moldy effect on the stones... These green shade stones are gorgeous...

Carnelian

Carnelian is part of the agate gemstones, a form of red agate... Its beautiful shade of red and brown makes the stones stand out by itself...

Smoky Quartz

Smoky Quartz has a unique brown shade that can be matched with any colour a person is wearing... The colour brown will never be dull with this stone!!

Aquamarine Quartz

Aquamarine Quartz has such a beautiful shade of light blue... Can be set with different mixture of gemstones...

I love this shade of Chilli Red... When mixed with Black Onyx and Citrine, the red looks even more prominent...

Cherry Quartz

This another favourite... Its shades of brown and pink makes the gemstone very unique... Can be worn as a choker or long necklace...

Aventurine

Aventurine is a beautiful green stone that looks almost like the green jade... It has different hues of green...

Citrine

Citrine is known as the "wealth" stone... It is supposed to bring prosperity to those who wears the stone...

Fluorite

The Fluorite gemstone is one of my favourites especially the purple and green variety... Its such a joy to work on jewelry made of these stones

Black Onyx can be mixed with a variety of other gemstones for the "classy" look
